What a genuine call includes
Look for the production or casting contact, the format of the work, the character or skill they need, and whether the meeting is online or in a named venue. Vague posts that promise a hero role to anyone who pays a fee are a warning sign.
TamilCasting does not publish an open list of talent. Productions register and are reviewed before they can see protected profiles.
What to prepare
Use recent photos in good light: a close-up, a side view and a full-length photo. Add your city, languages and an honest note about experience. A short showreel helps, and it can be added after you register.
Freshers should say they are freshers. Invented film credits waste everyone’s time and can be checked.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does TamilCasting post open casting calls?
The public site explains how Tamil casting works. Individual talent profiles and private share links are not a public directory.
Should I pay to attend a Tamil casting call?
Do not pay a stranger for a promised role. Ask which company is casting, where you will meet, and what the role is before you travel.
