These terms apply to the current TamilCasting public website. Account, talent-profile and production-access terms will be expanded before those features are enabled for real users.
1. Informational website
TamilCasting currently provides casting education, safety information and information about planned platform features. Information is general and may not apply to every production, role or situation.
2. No guaranteed audition or role
TamilCasting does not guarantee auditions, selection, employment, payment, movie roles, serial roles, advertisement work, modelling work or any other casting outcome.
3. No celebrity or production affiliation unless clearly stated
Educational pages discussing actors, films, production houses or common search questions do not mean TamilCasting represents, is endorsed by or is officially affiliated with those people or organisations.
4. Child Artists and Talent Under 18
TamilCasting also plans to support child artists and talent under 18.
Anyone under 18 must be registered and managed by a parent or legal guardian. A minor cannot create or control an independent talent account.
Parent or guardian consent is mandatory, but it does not replace any legal requirements that may apply to child artists. Production companies remain responsible for complying with applicable rules relating to child safety, education, working conditions, permissions and other legal requirements.
5. Truthful information
When accounts launch, users must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person, production company, filmmaker, casting professional or project. Talent must not fabricate professional credits.
6. Prohibited conduct
Fraud, harassment, threats, stalking, scraping, bulk harvesting, unauthorized marketing, misleading payment demands, identity misuse, inappropriate image requests, unauthorized redistribution of protected talent information and attempts to bypass access controls are prohibited.
7. Casting safety
Users remain responsible for evaluating individual opportunities, people, venues and requests. A platform review or approval status must not be treated as a guarantee of personal safety or project legitimacy.
8. Third-party risk and your responsibility
TamilCasting is a platform and information service. We are not the employer, producer, casting director, agent, guarantor or party to any casting engagement between users unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
You are responsible for independently checking the identity of the person contacting you, the production company, project, role, audition location, payment terms and any request made to you before you travel, pay money, share private information or attend a meeting.
9. Fraud, cheating, harassment and unwanted incidents
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TamilCasting is not responsible or liable for fraud, cheating, impersonation, scams, harassment, threats, stalking, inappropriate requests, unsafe meetings, physical injury, emotional harm, financial loss, theft, payment disputes, exploitation, misconduct or any other act or omission committed by a talent, production user, casting professional, advertiser, visitor or other third party.
This also applies to events or communications that take place outside TamilCasting, including phone calls, WhatsApp, social media, email, video calls, auditions, production offices, studios, residences, hotels, travel, rehearsals and shooting locations.
Production approval, account review, profile review or any similar platform status is only an access-control or review step. It is not a guarantee that a person, project, opportunity, company or location is safe, genuine, financially reliable or suitable for you.
10. No guarantee of prevention
TamilCasting may provide safety education, access controls, reporting tools and moderation, but no online platform can prevent every scam, false statement, misuse or harmful act. You should use your own judgement, follow the safety guidance published on TamilCasting and report suspicious activity promptly.
11. Assumption of risk
By choosing to contact another person, respond to an opportunity, attend an audition, travel to a location or enter into a professional arrangement, you acknowledge that real-world interactions involve risks that TamilCasting does not control. You remain responsible for deciding whether to proceed.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TamilCasting and its owners, officers, employees and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar losses arising from use of the website, reliance on user-provided information, third-party conduct or off-platform interactions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing removes any statutory duty that TamilCasting is required to perform under applicable law.
13. Website content
TamilCasting website text, design and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may share normal links to public pages, but you may not copy substantial website content or present it as your own service.
14. External links and third parties
TamilCasting may refer to third-party websites, services or public resources. We do not control third-party content, availability, policies or conduct.
15. Changes and availability
We may update, correct, remove or change public content and features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of the website.
16. Reports and enforcement
When account features launch, TamilCasting may restrict, suspend or remove access where necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, enforce platform rules or comply with applicable law.
